Recipe
Yield: 4 persons
Ingredients:
- 1 package of (fresh) pasta sheets
- 400 – 500 grams of ground chicken
- 1 big yellow onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 pot of fresh thyme
- 1 can of butter beans
- 2 cans of chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp tomato puré
- Olive oil
- ½ tsp hot paprika
- 1 pinch of cayennepepper
- Salt & pepper
- 1 bag of baby spinach (75 grams)
- 1 bechamelsauce
- 1 parmesan
How to make it:
- Peel the garlic & onion
- Chop the onion
- Press the garlics
- Grate a lot of parmesan, add to a bowl & put a side (for later)
- Wash the spinach, add to a bowl & put a side (for later)
- Pour some oil in a pot & heat it up
- Add onion, garlic, paprika & cayennepepper
- Fry until the onions are soft & shiny
- Cut of half of the thyme
– Fold the thyme in layers, some times and then cut it in small pieces into the pot - Stir & fry
- Add the chicken & fry it until it is brown
- Add tomato puré & stir with the chicken
- Add chopped tomatoes & beans
- Add salt & pepper
- Mix it all well together & leave to simmer on low/medium heat for 30 minutes
- Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees – Ordinary heat
- After 30 minutes, build the lasagna
- Start with adding some bechamelsauce to the dish – Bottom & edges
- Add meat, bechamelsauce, spinach leaves & lasagna sheets .. Repeat this way until the lasagna is finnished
– The last layer on the top, should be meat with bechamel sauce - Sprinkle with your grated parmesan
- Bake in the oven for 30 – 40 minutes
- You can garnish with some thyme, before serving & serve with a nice salad or a baguette
