Some time ago i was attending a parent arrangement at the school, and we all had to bring food. Starter, main course or dessert. We got the dessert, and I decided to make this amazing brownie with white chocolate & pecans ♥
The cake was sooo god, and I also made an ice cream with forest berries to go with it – yum! 😛
Recipe
Yield: 1 ovenproof dish (36 x 23 x 4,5 cm)
Ingredients:
- 125 grams of flour
- 200 grams of butter
- 200 grams of dark chocolate (about. 70%)
- 100 – 150 grams of white chocolate
- 1 handfull of pecans
- Vanillapowder
- 3 eggs
- 260 grams of sugar
- Salt
How to make it:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees – hot air
- Chop the chocolate (both of them)
- Chop the nuts
- At low heat, melt the butter & mix in the dark chocolate. stir it with a rubber spatula, until the mixture is nice & smooth. Let it cool
- Mix eggs & sugar and whip until it’s light & fluffy
- Add flour & vanillapowder and mix it well
- When the butter/chocolate mixture has cooled down, mix it nice and easy in the rest of the dough with the rubber spatula
- Add the white chocolate bits & the nuts
- Put baking sheet in a baking tin and pour the dough in
- bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes
- Put it in the fridge to cool down, and then cut it into nice bits
I have used a baking tin, in the size: 36 x 23 x 4,5 cm from Aldente
→ TIP:
Spread a bit seasalt over the cake before you put it in the oven… It gives the cake a nice touc
→ TIP:
The cake has to be crispy on the top, and nice & smushi/wet inside! You can store it in the fridge for 1 week or 2 🙂 Bonus!
