Homemade chili mayo are so delicious & it is really easy to make ♥
Start by making an ordinary mayonnaise, and then add chili sauce & powder
Recipe
Yield: 2 – 3 dl
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of pasteurizied egg yolks (4 eggyolks in total)
- Neutral oil (ex. Rapeseed oil
- Lemon
- 1 tbsp mustard (dijon)
- Salt
- ground chili
- Chilisauce (Strong/extra strong)
Sådan gør du:
- Put the egg yolkd into a big mixing bowl
- Add mustard & 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Mix it well
- Add abit oil and mix it again
- Here after.. Continue to add oil while mixing (You have to use a lot of oil – don’t be afraid 😉 )
- When the mayonnaise has a delicious thick & creamy consistency it is done
- Now, season with lemon juice, salt, chilisauce & ground chili
- If the consistency of the mayonnaise is to thin or thick, then just add some more oil (thicker) or lemon juice (thinner) & mix it
- Voila – Done ♥
⇒ Homemade mayonnaise can be stored for max. 1 week in the fridge.
