It is really delicious with some mayo for your sandwich or for amazing tuna salad, so if you eat mayo once in a while, I think you should try to make it yourself. There’s a world inn difference 🙂
It tastes so good, and it is really easy and fast to make it yourself – takes max. 10 minutes :), så the ‘”cooking” time is nothing to complaint about 😉
Also if you make your mayo yourself, you don’t get all og the disgusting additives.. and that weird white colour? Mayonnaise should not be all white!

Recipe
Yield: aprox. 5 dl
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of pasteurizied egg yolks (8 eggyolks in total)
- Neutral oil (ex. Rapeseed oil
- Lemon
- 1 tbsp mustard (dijon)
- Salt
How to make it:
- Put the egg yolkd into a big mixing bowl
- Add mustard & 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Mix it well
- Add abit oil and mix it again
- Here after.. Continue to add oil while mixing (You have to use a lot of oil – don’t be afraid 😉 )
- When the mayonnaise has a delicious thick & creamy consistency it is done
- Season with lemon juice & salt
- Voila ♥
