Yield: 30 stk
Ingredients:
Pizza dough
- 1/4 liter of water
- 500 grams of manitoba flour or Tipo ’00’ flour
- Durum flour
- 15 grams of yeast
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt
Filling
- 250 grams of shredded ham
- 1 emmentaler
- Tomato sauce
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pot of basil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Milk (for brushing)
How to make it:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, ordinary oven – Not hot air
- Dissolve yeast in the water and add the other ingredients
- Knead the dough very well .. It has to be firm & elastic
- Cover the bowl with cling film & leave on the kitchentable for min. 1 hour
- Coarsly grate the emmentaler
- Pick the basil leaves from the plant & chop them
- Peel & press/grate finely the garlic – Mix with the olive oil
- When the dough has raised, then divide it in two parts
- With a roling pin, roll each part flat. Sprinkle with durum flour, while rolling
- Add tomatosauce & then the garlic oil
- Sprinkle with basil
- Sprinkle with as much ham & cheese you want
- Carefully roll the dough together (as it was a roulade) & then cut pieces of 2 – 3 cm thicknes
- Add each bun to a bakingplate, with baking paper on and carefully press each a bit down
- Brush with milk
- Put in the middle rack of the oven for aprox. 10 minutes
