I always use home baked burger buns – When you start doing that, you’ll never stop! 😉
There is a huge difference in fluffy homemade buns that contains few natural ingredients & store bought buns, that is vacuumed and filled with lots of weird ingredients.
These are so good & they are easy to make.
What takes time, in making the buns, is the raising time (But here you can make something useful ;))
Make the dough, set them it side to raise & then do something in this timeframe 🙂
You can take a walk, clean, play with your kids, read a book among other things.
As I always make the burger buns myself, we always only have burgers in the weekends.
This is where you have time for extra stuff 🙂
I think it is greater to only get burgers int he weekends, as it is a bit more special & cozy, when you don’t get it as often & on the week days.
Your kids will also look much more forward to it, if they only get it in weekends ♥
