Cold weather = Hot chocolate ♥
We are in november – December soon! Wow!
It has become cold outside (But not as cold as it use to be at this time a year), and I have also already been a bit sick! 🙁
Autumn & winter weather, is amazing to be outside in – You just have to wear the right (and warm) clothes! 😉
So after you have been on a nice walk in the woods or out in the snow, it is great to come home to warm homebaked buns & a nice cup of hot chocolate.
This recipe is made with dark chocolate, cinnamon & a bit cocoa powder – I think that it tastes of more & tastes better if you use chocolate instead of cocoa 🙂
And … Of course you need marshmallows, to make it complete ♥
Recipe
Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 250 ml milk
- 40 grams of dark chocolate
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Marshmallows
How to make it:
- Chop the chocolate roughly
- Add milk to a pot
- Warm it up, on medium heat
- When the milk is hot, add chopped chocolate, cocoa, sugar & spices
- Heat it to boiling point
- Add some marshmallows in the glasses & pour the hot chocolate over (Use a tea strainer, if you don’t want small pieces of chocolate in)
- Serve!
