Homebaked bread & buns are just the best! I almost don’t buy any bread more – I make it myself. I doesn’t take long and the buns for my stepsons school lunch I keep in the fridge – so smart! 😉
Also I make buns for breakfast every morning in the weekends, and I also always make my burger buns & pita bread myself ♥

I have just stared making my own baguettes… I make it as a side ti soup. Potato soup, thai soup & tomato soup
My stepson Alexander, just love my baguttes ♥ and sometimes he also gets them in his lunchbox as a sandwich 🙂
Recipe
Yield: 3 baguettes
Ingredients:
- 50 grams of yeast
- 3 tbsp oil
- 3 dl water
- 2 tsp salt
- 500 grams of flour
How to make it:
- Dissolve the yeast in the water
- Add salt & oil
- Add the flour and mix it well (I use my kitchen machine from kenwood)
- Let the dough raise for ½ hour or more
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, hot air
- Make 3 baguettes and let them raise on a bakingplate (with baking paper on) for aprox. 15 minutes. Put a dishtowel over the bread
- Brush with water (and sprinkle with sesame, sea salt or flour if you want)
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes
- When the baguettes are done – brush them with water
→ TIP:
You can make different variations of baguettes..
Sprinkle with dried oregano, sea salt, sesame or flour, right before you put them in the oven 🙂
